Make it last
Wax is printed, Adire is dyed by hand. Neither asks for much, but both ask for the right habits — especially in the first few washes.
Wash your hand-dyed pieces on their own for the first three or four washes. Excess dye may release — this is normal, and it settles wash after wash.
Resist-dyeing lays the colour on the surface of the fibre. A hot wash, a long soak or drying in full sun will strip it faster. Washed cold, dried in the shade and ironed inside out, an Adire keeps its depth for years.
Discover the fabricsOur Adire is dyed by hand using traditional resist-dyeing techniques. Slight variations in colour, pattern and texture are part of that process. They are not flaws, but the signature of an authentic, handcrafted cloth — and the reason every piece is one of a kind.
